So we are on day 4 in the hotel and I thought I would show some pictures and talk about it.
We are lucky that we got adjoining rooms with the kid, so she would not overwhelm us. The room is fine....there is no maid service or room service (well, kind of), but a bed/tv/table.
View from the balcony is nice...yes, that is the Mediterranean...
We get fed three times day. Breakfast is put on the door in a bag at 6 am...lunch at noon and dinner at 6pm. Breakfast is cold...bread, cheese, yogurt, etc.
The other 2 meals are hot and include a main entree, starch and vegetable. Not terribly tasty but filling...
You can order out and we did that last night. Its a little pricy, but so is Tel-Aviv. Two large pizzas and 3 diet cokes cost around $54. But worth it...
We did go and get our serology tests today. We were allowed out of the hotel and took a taxi to the hospital where we took a number and waited to be called. The whole process took around 2 hours. The tests cost around $210 for the three of us.
If we pass the tests, we can get out of quarantine early and do some traveling around Israel before settling into Jerusalem. Fingers crossed!!
Glad you all made it and are enjoying thus far.
